Department, as part of the University Hospitals of Northamptonshire, has established an academic link with Leicester Diabetes Centre, University of Leicester and soon will be appointing the first academic consultant who will have 50% academic (University of Leicester) and 50% clinical job (Diabetes and Endocrine Dept, Kettering).
