Responsibilities:
YOUR ROLE
This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to join an outstanding Public Health Team to provide temporary part time backfill while one of our Consultants takes on a new role outside the Borough. Supporting the Director of Public Health, you will ensure that Stockport’s public health responsibilities are successfully fulfilled. You will take a leadership role within the council and externally in improving health and wellbeing of local residents.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide expert public health advice to Elected Members, Directors and senior officers in the Council and the Stockport Locality of Greater Manchester Integrated Care.
- To act as a consultant in public health, including working as a professional change agent, in areas to be identified in the job plan.
