Description:
This position offers a fantastic opportunity to join our dynamic team of Consultants in Respiratory Medicine at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust.
We seek a dedicated individual eager to influence and develop our evolving department. Committed to providing the highest level of care, we continually strive to advance Respiratory Medicine in the region. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player with a flexible approach, ready to support and enhance our existing Respiratory Service and actively contribute to improving patient care. This role includes a total of 10 PAs per week, with an additional 1.25 PAs for on-call duties.
The successful candidate will also play a crucial role in supporting and sustaining our Lung Cancer Service.
You will undertake general and specialty Respiratory Medicine outpatient clinics, provide inpatient ward care, sustain the Lung Cancer service for Peterborough in collaboration with colleagues, the Clinical Lead, and the Directorate Management team, and provide on-call services within the Department of Medicine approximately once every 28 days at the Peterborough site.
Additionally, you will contribute to the training of junior doctors and nurses, demonstrate a commitment to continuing professional development and appraisal, and work with the NWAFT Imaging Service and RPH teams to support Lung Cancer pathways.
