Responsibilities:

  • Stay in regular communication with the audio-visual consultant community through email, phone call, and in-person visits to stay current on upcoming and future project activity, ensuring Listen is the specified product of choice in our category
  • Maintain a deep technical knowledge of all Listen product solutions
  • Give regular high-level presentations to the consultant community on the Listen brand and solution set
  • Work cross-functionality with our product management team so Listen’s product set meets the needs of the consultant community
  • Assist consultants in specifying Listen solutions for their projects
  • Participate in trade shows and regional events as assigned to promote Listen brand
  • Use the CRM to log communications and notes and work with the available tools/partners to ensure appropriate tracking of all consultant communications
  • Develop relationships with assigned consultant accounts that result in ability to leverage opportunities
  • Work closely with marketing to implement tools relevant to the consultant community
  • Work with Listen’s Regional Sales Managers, Manufacturer’s Reps, and distributors to coordinate consultant visits (in person and virtual)
  • Have an intimate understanding of Listen’s channel and GTM sales model
  • Demonstrate effective selling skills and product knowledge for all product groups
  • Have a complete understanding of the company pricing model and opportunity creation
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities via the CRM
  • Stay up to date and knowledgeable on competitive solutions
  • Remain knowledgeable and up to date on changes and developments of product lines
  • Uphold and execute the company brand, values, philosophy, ethics, culture and integrity
  • This position is customer facing. Punctual arrival, dependable attendance, and professional appearance are mandatory
  • Travel required up to 30
