Job description

CONNECT TO YOUR OPPORTUNITY

If you have practical delivery experience of Oracle HCM Cloud implementations and are looking to develop your career in a market-leading HR transformation and technology consulting team, then this could be the role for you.
Join a team which is recognised by industry analysts for our HR Transformation & Technology capability, and by Oracle for our implementation expertise and delivery excellence. As an Oracle HCM Cloud practitioner, you will be a key member of our market-leading Oracle HCM Cloud consulting team within our Human Capital consulting practice.
We have achieved 100% Service Expertise globally and were voted Oracle’s UK and Ireland HCM Partner of the Year three years in a row. Combining your technical and functional expertise with your people and project management skills and experience, this role will provide you with opportunities to lead multi-disciplinary teams in the development and delivery of Oracle solutions for a wide range of clients across multiple industries.

We are looking for talented individuals who possess the right blend of skills and experience to help shape and progress the practice. The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Take responsibility for design and development of Oracle HCM Cloud solutions/modules
  • Effectively manage risks and client expectations
  • Establish good working relationships across Technology & Transformation competencies and other Deloitte service lines
  • Challenge clients to think commercially, from a holistic organisational perspective and not solely from a HR viewpoint
  • Actively contribute to the growth of the business by identifying sales opportunities and developing bid and marketing materials
  • Offer strong and compelling recommendations to clients around HCM apps-related matters and issues, demonstrating market expertise and building the credibility of the UK business
  • Work in diverse, multi-regional teams within an inclusive team culture, where people are recognised and valued for their contribution
  • Support more junior team members with their day-to-day development

In addition, for Managers, the expected candidate will also be able to:

  • Take responsibility for end-to-end management of Oracle HCM Cloud projects across diverse sectors, providing support and leadership to multi-disciplinary team members to successfully deliver against project objectives
  • Provide insight, innovation, and thought leadership to clients on the latest thinking across the HR Cloud industry as a Subject Matter Expert
  • Manage diverse and multidisciplinary teams – spread across Europe and beyond
  • Build capability in our team – by managing individuals on projects and acting as a people leader internally

CONNECT TO YOUR SKILLS AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Essential:

  • Specialist functional knowledge of and experience of implementing at least one Oracle HCM Cloud module – end-to-end
  • Hands-on knowhow of Oracle HCM Cloud configuration
  • SC Security clearance (or confirmed eligibility)
  • Experience of working effectively and building trusted relationships with stakeholders and sponsors at all levels
  • Proven capability of influencing, coaching, and advising team members
  • Ability to clearly communicate a point of view
  • Broad knowledge of HR business processes and deep understanding of business processes for your specific modules
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience of presenting, chairing meetings, facilitating workshops, and business and report writing throughout the UK and potentially in Europe on client projects.

Desirable:

  • A proven track record of managing work streams in a consulting (or project) environment, with direct responsibility for a team
  • Ability to advise clients on business cases and implementation/roll-out roadmaps
  • Experience in implementing Oracle Cloud Payroll, Oracle Recruiting Cloud and Oracle Cloud Workforce Compensation
  • Experience of working with GenAI solutions
  • Consulting or system implementation services background
  • An understanding of project commercials, with experience of managing implementation budgets
  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of Oracle’s business strategy
  • At least one full Oracle Cloud certification
