Job Overview
You will be working in the OPEX (Operational Excellence) team, the driving force for achieving excellence within the operations domain of Finance.
From the team not only an Operational Excellence skill set is brought towards the organization, also automation and sourcing solutions are provided via the team of experts. The team increases the scalability of the organization via process standardisation and automation of finance processes, contributes to data quality improvement and onboarding trajectories. Additionally, the change portfolio is positioned within the OPEX team. The team stimulates a continuous improvement mindset and is constantly looking for ways to create more efficient processes. Doing so, the team has an important role in the transformation of the Finance department to a Centre of Excellence.
As a Consultant Operating Model & Process Management you love to improve end-to-end processes and develop a vision on global financial services in alignment with the strategic ambitions of ING. Applying new technologies and best practices is key to onboard new services and to drive continuous improvement. You enjoy coaching your colleagues and helping them increase their knowledge and expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for implementing One Operating Model for the Operations/Services Centre of Finance together with the Circle Leads
  • Develop process improvement and standardization Roadmaps together with Circle Leads
  • Cross-circle & outside GS oriented - work with various stakeholders (Business Partners, Tribes, Global Services Circles, ING Hubs) to align on tactical level
  • Support the team in providing insights into the organization’s Roadmaps and delivery on standardization targets
  • Make use of new technology, standards, tools and/or market developments within and outside ING
  • Set-up reporting -KPI and other- in accordance with the organization’s needs
  • Optimize Data Quality
  • Together with Service Management ensure consistency of the service catalogue and the actual situation
  • Support onboarding of new business to the organization by evaluating the incoming processes against existing service offerings
  • Bring Lean methodologies knowledge to the organization.
