We are inviting applications from an enthusiastic Consultant Paediatrician to work with our ARFID Team. We are in the process of creating a specialist ARFID pathway and team working with 0 - 18 year olds and their families. We offer an inclusive and supportive team environment and are keen to support your professional development and wellbeing. Our multi-disciplinary team includes Clinical Psychology, Nursing, Dietetic, Psychiatry, CAMHS Practitioner and Paediatric posts, supported by a friendly Admin Team.
As a Consultant Paediatrician you will be making an active contribution to our multi-disciplinary approach to assessment and treatment for young people with ARFID and related eating difficulties. Our interventions are formulation-based and in line with the latest evidence as well as national and international guidance. Our approach involves a combination of mental health, dietetic and medical input, with multi-disciplinary, multi-modal care packages tailored according to individual need.
You will be part of a cutting-edge service at the forefront of developments for people with ARFID and committed to improving care for this patient group. You will have the opportunity to be involved in our training activities alongside delivering evidence-based interventions. We work hard to involve our service users in efforts to shape and improve what we offer.
Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust provides child and adult mental health services, learning disability, wellbeing and eating disorder services across Norfolk and Suffolk.
