Description:
Duties will also include participation in the on call rota (all existing full time consultant posts have 1.64 PA/week for on-call duties which includes an allocation for weekend ward rounds) and a contribution to delivering the safeguarding service for non-sexual abuse assessments. There are 8 ward weeks/year with double Consultant of The Week cover for the Paediatric Wards. The Paediatric team are in the process of adopting a working pattern to provide resident evening cover of the wards until 22:00 throughout the week Monday to Friday and second consultant ward round support at the weekend 08:30-1430
