Consultant - Performance Testing

INFOSYS IS SEEKING A CONSULTANT WITH PERFORMANCE TESTING AND ENGINEERING.

As a Performance Testing and Engineering consultant, you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the performance of existing systems. You will conduct non functional requirement analysis, define performance test strategy & design and lead execution to guarantee superior performance. You will also be required to design an optimal test environment to simulate real-time scenarios. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• 4 years of Information Technology experience
• U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor at this time.
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Basking Ridge, NJ or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US and Canada
• 4 years of good experience in Performance Testing in creating Performance Test Strategy, Test scenarios and Test cases with hands on technical knowledge.
• Strong scripting skills with Load Runner and Jmeter.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Dynatrace and AppDynamics
• Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in understanding application architecture
• Knowledge of Performance trouble shooting (heap dump & thread dump analysis)
• Knowledge of Automation tools like Selenium
• Very good understanding of the Software Test life cycle activities through practice in multiple Projects.
• Working knowledge of Java
• Analytical and Communication skills
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
  The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
