Want to bring ideas to life?
You’re in the right place. We’ve been a leading design, engineering and advisory company for decades. So why choose Aurecon? It really comes down to one, crucial question: what kind of world do you want to create for the next generation? Truth is, the decisions being made right now will determine the future of everything – from the local community to the sustainability of our clients’ businesses – to the entire planet. One of those decisions is: who do you decide to work for?
How will your ideas contribute to shaping what’s next?
As our new Consultant, Program Performance, you will be working as a Project Engineer/Officer on a long-term contract within the Water sector. In this role you’ll work with a team of highly skilled specialists managing complex/strategic projects or large-scale programs to provide efficient customer-focussed capital investment outcomes. With this you will play an integral role in one of the largest and most complex capital programs in South Australia managing the delivery of critical water assets within a Portfolio Delivery Group.
Within this role you will drive outcomes to inform innovative solutions within the specific delivery group by ensuring that projects or designated activities comply with internal and external standards, acts and regulations.

Here are the key things you’ll do:

  • Apply project scope controls and contribute to scope definition management, to assist with contract and procurement planning, from inception through to delivery and practical completion to achieve our client’s overall program objectives.
  • Work closely, and within our client’s environment, to understand and contribute to the successful delivery of the program by managing key relationships and communicating across a diverse stakeholder group.
  • Contribute to the development of projects schedules to manage work programmes and oversee the implementation of these schedules through continues monitoring and updates to baseline schedules.
  • Contribute to the development of project budgets and reconciliation of these to deliver the forecast investment targets of the Capital Delivery Program.
  • Provide support in the collation of data and information required to drive effective decision-making, considering technical risk and delivery planning analytics.
  • Proactively and consistently report to the Portfolio leadership team, and other key stakeholders, on status, progress and completion of projects.
  • Through the application of quality policies and procedures, identify opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives; and where relevant, manage and deliver actions associated with these.
