JOB DESCRIPTION

Overview
Supports physicians and advanced practice providers throughout the onboarding process. Provides various services, including but not limited to license verification, management of provider credentialing, management of CAQH information, review of malpractice claims and overall point person for new providers. Develops and maintains protocols and procedures for requesting and collecting all credentialing information from providers. Ensures accurate information is entered and maintained within the centralized credentialing database. Obtains all pertinent information from third parties to complete credentialing and privileging processes. Acts as a liaison between new providers and HR, Enrollment, service lines and other key stakeholders to coordinate a smooth onboarding process.
This will be a remote opportunity after completion of training. Flexible start time between 7:00am and 9:00am and will work about 24 hours per week. This is a benefits eligible position.

Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in business, human resources, healthcare or related field or equivalent years of experience.

  • May require a valid Indiana driver’s license with proof of insurance.
  • Requires 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Requires proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and guidelines related to credentialing and privileging processes are preferred.
