REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Technical Proficiency:
- Strong knowledge of programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, or C# & SQL, Angular and AngularJS, Postman, Node red, Rest API) and Customize MES platform
- Knowledge of SQL/Oracle and experience with database management systems (DBMS) like MySQL or SQL Server is important for handling the data within the MES
- Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is useful since Visual Factory often involves web-based interfaces and dashboards.
- Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems will help in understanding the integration and workflow processes
- Familiarity with Internet of Things (IoT) devices and automation protocols can be crucial, as Visual Factory integrates with various hardware and sensors on the shop floor
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing concepts and practices is beneficial for optimizing processes and reducing waste
- Skills in designing intuitive and user-friendly interfaces to ensure that operators can easily follow digital work instructions
- Ability to analyze data and generate reports to monitor and improve manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with cloud services and data security, as Visual Factory can be hosted on the cloud
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve issues that may arise during the implementation and operation of the MES platform
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to understand and optimize manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and implement MES applications.
- Integrate MES with other enterprise systems.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting.
- Monitor MES system performance and recommend improvements.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Collaborate with internal & offshore teams to ensure MES solutions meet business requirements
