Concentric Corporation is currently seeking a talented Consulting Engineer for our client in Columbia, MO.
As a Consulting Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing and executing customer projects, ensuring they are completed within budget and on time. You will work in a dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks across multiple customers and collaborating with team members to deliver comprehensive solutions. Your role will involve both leadership and collaborative contributions, requiring a balance of technical expertise and excellent communication skills.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- 1+ years in an IT-related field.
- Previous internship or equivalent work experience in IT.
- 1+ years troubleshooting general network issues.
REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND CERTIFICATIONS:
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Collaborate with the engineering team to provide consultative and proactive project management support to our account base.
- Implement customer projects successfully, adhering to proposed budgets and timelines.
- Quickly prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment, managing multiple customer engagements simultaneously.
- Document advanced procedures and plans related to customer networks, systems software, and hardware.
- Focus on delivering complete solutions, whether as a leader, contributor, or facilitator.
- Participate in weekly team calls as directed by the Team Lead.
- Assist sales consultants and fellow Engineers with network and systems design, review, validation, and optimization.
- Provide advanced support for escalations from the Managed Services team.
- Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor in all interactions, working as both a leader and contributor as assigned.
- Acquire and maintain knowledge of various solutions and technologies as directed by customer demand.
TYPICAL DAILY TASKS:
- Configure and maintain network infrastructure, including both wired and wireless systems.
- Monitor systems to ensure best practices are followed.
- Document existing customer infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and maintain Active Directory.
- Implement and maintain Azure Cloud services.
- Provide advanced support and configuration for virtualization.
- Offer general end-user support as needed.
