Description:
JOB SUMMARY
Act as point of contact for Associates and People Managers for any type of conflict resolution globally
SKILLS AND MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 2 years of experience in similar positions
- Knowledge of Local Legislation
- Assertive person in conflict management
- Experience with unionized employees
- High level of concentration and attention to detail
- Advanced use of Ms Office (Excel intermediate - graphs and pivot tables)
- Excellent communication and complaint handling skills
- Availability to move and rotate on different plants
- Experience in organizations with plants with between 800 - 1000 employees
- Intermediate English (oral and written level)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct fair and thorough investigations from intake through resolution, adhering to all defined processes, including case management documentation and corrective action coaching
- Manage complex global associate relations issues and connect with HR Managers and People Managers for complex issues and disciplinary actions
- Partner with HR Manager to develop and implement global associate relations best practices and programs
- Resolve and document grievances and resolutions in a timely fashion, individually or with senior management assistance
- Provide People Managers with information on policies and procedures, the appeal process, and the corrective action process
- Perform associate file duties as necessary, which include coordinating provision of subpoenaed records and responses to unemployment claims; obtaining files or particular file contents as requested by other Human Resources personnel, assisting with regulatory audits and surveys
- Manage the work to resolve associate relations issues by partnering with People Managers and Associates, administering policies, and recommending effective solutions for addressing workplace issues
- Maintain collaborative team relationships with peers and colleagues in order to effectively contribute to the working group’s achievement of goals, and to help foster a positive work environment
- Analyze associate feedback across all levels on a regular basis and revise programs and policies to generate more positive outcomes
- Respond Complaints thru ticketing system
