Cochlear is looking for a Consumer Engagement Coordinator for our Cochlear Benelux unit.
The Consumer Engagement Coordinator will cooperate within the Benelux Marketing team, based in the Mechelen BE headquarters, but will work mainly for the Dutch market. After their training period, they can work remotely up to 40%. They will have a one-year contract, renewal is possible but not yet guaranteed.

Your role:

  • You act as the primary liaison for inbound and outbound candidate communication through online channels.
  • You ensure that all candidates are supported throughout the decision-making and implantation process. You handle candidate inquiries about implantable hearing solutions in an empathic mentoring and personalized way.
  • You connect candidates to clinics or volunteers and do the follow up to make sure the candidates get the correct counselling of their severe hearing loss.
  • Occasionally you (co-) host live candidate information sessions (online or in The Netherlands).
  • You coordinate online and offline candidate communication materials such as web pages, brochures and welcome packs.
  • You ensure the Facebook Community Management and screen various social media platforms for relevant candidate and competitor information.

About you:

  • You can provide an empathetic experience to the candidate through strong communication, listening and influencing skills, a friendly and positive attitude and excellent customer orientation,
  • You have strong and clear communication skills, including experience in telephony, and perfect written, spoken and understanding skills in English and Dutch,
  • You have proven analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to advise and mentor customers and you have strong organizational skills,
  • You master impeccable administration skills,
  • You ensure timely follow up on all calls, tasks and commitments towards candidates and stakeholders.
  • Ideally, you know your way around CRM systems like Salesforce HealthCloud and are not afraid to us it in an intensive and expert way,
  • You are enthusiastic by the world of hearing and audiology and you are eager to learn more about it and about our implantable solutions
  • You have knowledge about the Dutch reimbursement landscape and the candidate journey or are willing to delve into it,
  • You have experience or a strong interest in (medical) marketing,
  • You are a strong team contributor, with a proven ability to work independently.
