THE EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • University degree or equivalent in Social Sciences, Math, Computer Sciences, Business or relevant
  • Solid grasp of Marketing Research techniques with emphasis on quantitative research (e.g., questionnaire development, survey testing, reporting)
  • Strong understanding of quantitative (univariate and multivariate) analysis techniques
  • Experience with statistical software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, or R)
  • Experience with data visualization and business intelligence software (e.g., Microsoft Power BI)
  • Excellent analytical, storytelling, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to translate/communicate analytics recommendations to both technical and nontechnical team members
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and encourage use of new information and consumer insights
  • Ability to work in cross functional team environment and strong working relationships with senior management, marketing, healthcare and retail sales teams, finance and outside agencies
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously demonstrating strong prioritization skills, balancing uncertainties and trade-offs to achieve desired business results
  • Attention to detail with emphasis on both speed and accuracy
  • Strong intellectual curiosity and independent judgement with the desire to understand the basis and drivers of consumer behaviour
  • Experience with predictive modelling and machine learning is an asset

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a member of the Insights & Analytics Function, the Consumer Insight Analyst will help create value for Reckitt (Canada) through enabling data-driven decision making for strategic and operational planning. The Consumer Insight Analyst will assist in our understanding of our target consumers across our key markets, Infant Formula, Child Nutrition, Sexual Wellbeing, Health Relief, Pain Relief, and Personal Care. Reporting to the Consumer Insight Manager, this role will be responsible for assisting with the production of our quantitative consumer tracking studies, ensuring smooth quarterly production of the surveys, supplier oversight, and report production.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct for ad hoc statistical analysis of data sets using SPSS or other statistical software
  • Support teams in interpreting results and contribute to action plans indicated by the analyses and reports
  • Lead the production of the monthly business performance scorecards, tracking performance of KPIs relative to targets
  • Work with channels to help interpret the basis of the performance and help identify action plans
  • Continually search for improvements in measurement techniques, with a goal to be agile and improving research turn-around rates
  • Leverage new technologies and platforms to ensure best practice for democratization of data and data visualization
