What will this role achieve?
As a member of the Central Compliance team, this role is key to pladis to ensure that all consumer feedback is responded to in a positive way, which retains Consumer and Customer dedication to pladis brands.
The pladis Consumer Services Team is the sole point of contact for all interaction across the whole of pladis’ & Godiva product ranges. Consumer contact feedback and its impact and importance is a key measure of pladis’ performance in meeting the needs of consumers and its brands
This is a part time role and the working hours are 1-5pm Monday-Friday

What will be your key deliverables?

  • Front-line contact between the Company and its consumers and customers.
  • Respond to all contacts in a manner that promotes the Company and will retain consumer dedication to our brands, via email, Company carelines and written correspondence.
  • Co-ordinate investigations into consumer complaints with relevant colleagues, such as manufacturing site team.
  • Is provided or gains information from other company functions for responses to consumer enquiries or complaints, including Brand information and changes, technical changes to products, and dietary and nutritional information for pladis products
  • Identifies any serious issues and escalates to departmental managers as appropriate
  • Supports the operation of the Consumer Services team and tasks required, to assist the Consumer Team Manager and Co Ordinator as requested for work required
  • Part-time staff are required to work additional hours to cover holidays for other team members.

What do you need for this role?

Essential

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Numerical skills
  • Keyboard skills
  • Preferably 1 years’ experience in a consumer based environment.
  • Proficient in PC skills (including Microsoft, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • English and Maths – GCSE level or equivalent
  • Compassionate and patient
  • Good negotiator
  • Listening Skills

Desirable

  • Previous experience within a similar industry
  • NVQ in Customer Services or similar
