As a Container Security Technical SME, you will be working for our client, a global financial leader that focuses on building secure and innovative digital services. This role is part of the Cybersecurity Assessment and Testing (CSAT) function, which is responsible for protecting the company’s infrastructure by identifying and remediating vulnerabilities in both cloud and on-premise environments. You will collaborate with development and cybersecurity teams to ensure the integrity of container-based applications, helping secure global business operations while leveraging cutting-edge technologies and maintaining compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities:
YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage container scanning tools and ensure performance meets key metrics
- Run security scans, helping development teams understand and remediate vulnerabilities
- Define and maintain scanning tool configuration, rulesets, and policies
- Lead the creation and maintenance of security scanning quality assurance documentation
- Monitor security threats, trends, and intelligence to improve security capabilities
- Conduct data analysis to identify patterns and trends in security findings
- Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, cybersecurity, and business teams
- Provide technical expertise on container-related risks and communicate them to stakeholders
- Deploy containers and set up Kubernetes clusters for secure environments
- Stay updated on new product trends to continuously enhance security measures
YOU’RE IDEAL FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE:
- Experience working in cloud environments such as AWS or GCP
- Expertise in cloud and container security review and vulnerability assessment
- Experience with deploying containers and configuring Kubernetes clusters
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and vulnerability management for containers
- Ability to explain technical security threats and vulnerabilities to both technical and business stakeholders
- Proficiency in a programming language like Python
- Professional IT Security qualifications or certifications
- Strong analytical skills and a proactive, inquisitive mindset
- Experience working in international and diverse environments
- Fluent English
