JOB DESCRIPTION:
Tribe Nation Theatrical Distribution (TNTD) Limited, a licensed distribution firm that specializes in the theatrical distribution of independent and commercial filmed content, is looking to hire a Content Acquisition Intern to join our team.
Our ideal candidate must have at least one year proven experience in content acquisition or media-related roles and should have proficient knowledge of Google Workspace. You must have strong communication skills and a positive track record of exceeding outlined goals.
Our ideal candidate should be highly organized, detail oriented and have passion for the film industry and content licensing.
QUALIFICATION:
Our ideal candidate is expected to possess the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree/Higher National Diploma in Theater Arts, Business Administration, Mass Communication, or any related Social Sciences field;
Minimum of 1 year of working experience in Content Acquisition or similar roles;
Professional qualifications, certifications, and memberships in the film industry are an added advantage;
Must reside in Lagos;
Must have completed NYSC.
SKILLS:
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail;
Proficient in the use of Google Workspace;
Strong knowledge of the film industry, market trends, and distribution channels.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information;
Excellent time management and organization skills;
Ability to work with minimal or zero supervision.

Responsibilities:
Your key responsibilities will be to:
Identify potential content partners through research, industry events, and networking.
Stay updated on trends in the entertainment industry.
Assist in screening submitted films and providing feedback on their commercial viability and alignment with the company’s vision.
Support the Content Acquisition Manager in drafting proposals, contracts, and agreements for content acquisition.
Maintain and update a database of all content acquisitions.
Work closely with the marketing and distribution teams to ensure acquired content aligns with audience preferences and marketing strategies.
Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, organizing screenings, and documenting acquisition processes.
