Responsibilities:

Are you a talented writer with a passion for storytelling? Were seeking a Content & Channel Editor to lead our business-to-business editorial strategy and create engaging content across all platforms! In this role, youll develop and manage our editorial strategy and framework. Youll then plan, create and schedule newsworthy content across our social media, unitegroup.com, company intranet and more. Youll also make sure all content reflects our brand`s tone of voice, track engagement and refine our approach for maximum impact.
If you have exceptional writing and storytelling skills, experience in content strategy and editorial planning and a keen eye for detail and audience trends then this role is for you!

What You`ll Be Doing

  • Develop and manage our editorial strategy across all channels
  • Plan and schedule content for social media, website, intranet, and more
  • Be the tone of voice guardian for the company, ensuring all content reflects our brand
  • Run tone of voice workshops and provide support to teams across the business
  • Build a cultural calendar to align content with key moments
  • Co-ordinate the development, design and publishing of key publications including the Annual report, sustainability report and insight reports.
  • Track audience interests and the news agenda
  • Work with digital teams to improve the website and intranet user experience
  • Create engaging, relevant content to drive audience engagement
  • Monitor and grow engagement across channels
  • Be the expert on content and channel trends
  • Report on content performance and make recommendations for improvements

What We`re Looking for in You

  • Outstanding copywriting skills, with a sharp eye for detail
  • Background in journalism an advantage
  • Strong understanding of the news agenda and how to use cultural moments to bring our stories to life
  • Ability to resonate with key audiences through compelling storytelling
  • Experience in deploying content across the right channels, in the right way, at the right time
  • A track record in briefing and co-ordinating the development and design of business publications.
  • Proven ability to boost engagement and adapt content strategies based on trends
  • Ability to analyse performance data and recommend improvements
  • Experience maintaining and teaching tone of voice guidelines
