We are looking for an experienced, productive and proactive Content and PR Co-ordinator with exceptional writing, editing and copy writing skills to join our thriving and growing company on a part-time basis.

ESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification (e.g. CIM) in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field
  • Previous experience in a similar role, with significant involvement in content creation and/or public relations.
  • Proven experience in creating and managing content across multiple platforms (website, email, social media, print etc.)
  • Exceptional writing, editing and copy writing skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas for content
  • Familiarity with digital marketing strategies, including email marketing, social media marketing and content marketing
  • Experience in public relations and managing external partners/agencies
  • Understanding of SEO principles and experience with keyword research tools
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Willingness to occasionally attend events and exhibitions, which can be anywhere in the UK, for content and PR purposes
  • Hold a valid driving licence and have access to a car or other mode of private transport.

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE - ONLY ’NICE TO HAVES’!

  • Experience in adding and editing content using a CMS platform, preferably WordPress
  • Familiarity with a CRM tool such as Salesforce, HubSpot or Microsoft Dynamics
  • Proficiency using graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator etc.) or Canva
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS
  • Experience in creating and managing a content calendar to organise and streamline content delivery
  • Ability to create and edit video content tailored for various platforms, enhancing multimedia storytelling
  • Experience in event marketing.

Responsibilities:

As part of this role you will be responsible for creating, managing, and executing content and public relations strategies to enhance brand visibility, captivate our target audiences, and drive action to enable the achievement of company KPIs and objectives.
This role involves developing compelling content for various channels, managing media relations, coordinating PR campaigns, and ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms. The co-ordinator will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive engagement, foster positive public perception, and support business objectives through effective communication and storytelling.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Create high-quality content for various channels includingblogs, case studies, email content, social media posts, press releases, e-magazinesand any other communications as briefed.
  • Support the development of the annual marketing calendar, contributingto the content and PR strategy.
  • Coordinate all content and PR activity to ensure timelypublication and distribution of content across relevant channels.
  • Produce comprehensive content and PR plans that supportmarketing and company objectives.
  • Support with the development of content for presentations,tenders, IPs, and messaging for events, exhibitions and webinars.
  • Ensure all content on the allmanhall website and The Pass iskept up to date and maintained, regularly contributing new material to engageour target audiences.
  • Copy check and proofread all content sent out both internallyand externally.
  • Continuously research industry trends, market news and updates, andpartner activity to support content and PR efforts.
  • Plan and execute PR campaigns and events to promote our brandand services.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies to ensureseamless campaign execution.
  • Track and report on campaign performance, providing insights andrecommendations for improvement.
  • Conduct keyword research and use appropriate tools to keepcontent up to date and to generate new ideas for content and PR opportunities.
  • Ensure all content is optimised for SEO and follows bestpractices for online engagement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media contacts, thoughtleaders, and industry professionals.
  • Draft, distribute, and follow up on press releases and mediapitches.
  • Maintain information relating to upcoming features lists for PRopportunities and develop relationships with preferred publishing partners andother third-parties.
  • Monitor media coverage and create reports to measure theeffectiveness of PR campaigns.
  • Regularly audit digital and print instances for coverage ofallmanhall, ensuring the company is represented professionally and fairly,where possible requesting a bank link, and if needed sending out cease anddesist requests.
  • Manage and grow our social media presence by creating andscheduling engaging content.
  • Monitor social media channels for trends and opportunities toengage with our audience.
  • Respond to comments and messages in a timely and professionalmanner.
  • Coordinate the creation and publication of Foodsight. Thisincludes, scoping ideas and content generation, planning key timings andmilestones, briefing the project team, content and editorial management, copychecking and proofreading all content, and ensuring the e-magazine is publishedon time, accurately and appropriately.
  • Ensuring maximum coverage of Foodsight across various channels and through PR partners, whilst also leading project reflection and improvements for future editions.
