BASIC REQUIREMENTS

• 3-5 years of experience in content authoring, web writing, or a related role, with strong CMS proficiency. Contentful is a plus.
• Exceptional authoring and editing skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience working with developers, UX designers, and marketing.
• Understanding of SEO principles and web content best practices.

THE ROLE

Metagenics is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Content Author to create, manage, and optimize website pages and content that align with our brand, marketing, and product strategies. As a key team member, you will ensure that all site content is engaging, accurate, and adheres to SEO and brand guidelines. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in content management systems (CMS), web content creation, and cross-functional collaboration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as the primary point of contact for creating new pages and content on the site.
• Work closely with various teams (brand, marketing, product) to align on page structure, messaging, and goals.
• Author and build pages within the Contentful CMS, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and SEO best practices.
• Collaborate with design and development teams for any necessary visual or interactive elements.
• Perform quality checks to ensure all published content is accurate, error-free, and optimized for the user experience.
