We’re now looking for an inventive and experienced Social Media Manager/Content Creator to join our team and elevate our social media presence and marketing activities.

Responsibilities:

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a Social Media Manager and Content Creator to manage our Instagram and Facebook accounts, producing regular, fresh, and varied content that drives footfall to our stores, grows our local and wider audience, and enhances brand awareness. The candidate must have a passion for interior design and experience working within this sector. This role will involve travelling to and working across all five of our store locations (Altrincham, Cheadle Hulme, Wilmslow, Heswall and St. Annes). You will work closely with the directors, store managers, and other team members to ensure a consistent message across in-store activities, online platforms, and marketing campaigns. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Manage and create content for Instagram and Facebook, including posts, reels, and stories, aligned with the Homebird Interiors aesthetic.
· Regularly visit each of our five stores to capture content and promote their unique offerings.
· The role involves more than simply taking and posting photographs. The candidate must have a passion for interior design and experience in this area. They will be expected to capture content from existing store displays however they must also have an ability to stage photographs themselves and create interesting content such as tablescapes and room settings.
· Collaborate with directors, store managers, and other team members to ensure consistent messaging and align social media activity with in-store promotions.
· Contribute towards development and maintenance of a marketing calendar in conjunction with the directors and managers to plan posts, campaigns, and photo shoots in advance.
· Engage with followers and interact with customers daily through comments, direct messages, and community-building activities.
· Familiarize yourself with the varied stock and upcoming product lines. An in-depth knowledge of warehouse stock is essential - both delivered and expected – and the candidate will need to work according to the dictates of this.
· Create a variety of novel content types, including product highlights, lifestyle imagery, behind-the-scenes posts, staff features, and instructional/tutorial content (e.g., “how to style a dining table”).
· Analyze social media performance and, along with managers, produce reports to demonstrate metrics and growth.
· Assist with managing promotional events and campaigns across social media and in-store in collaboration with managers and directors.
