In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing social media and digital content that highlights and promotes the academic and extracurricular offerings of the Lansing School District. Using video production and photography skills, you will craft compelling visuals and narratives that effectively communicate the district’s benefits to students, parents, and the broader community.

QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION

• Associate’s Degree required
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred

• Utilize video production and photography skills to create social media content that promotes the benefits of academic and extracurricular offerings in the Lansing School District.

• Assist in the editing and preparation of digital content for final distribution.
• Collaborate with members of the Communications Department, Lansing School District staff, and community partners to identify promotional opportunities.
• Assist in the preparation, preproduction, and live stream of identified Lansing School District events.
• Consistently utilize creativity and initiative to meet content deadlines.
  External candidates will most likely start on the lower end of the scale unless there are extenuating circumstances. Internal candidates already on the M&C Specialists scale in Level 3 could be placed towards the upper end of the range depending on their current Step.
