POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a Content Creator, you will be responsible for planning, shooting, and assisting with the creative direction of on-site video content for social media. You will visit client locations to capture high-quality footage using an iPhone 15 or higher, ensuring a mix of engaging formats, including:

• Interview-style content (Q&A with business owners, testimonials, staff highlights)
• Informational content (educational breakdowns, FAQs, expert tips)
• Promotional content (product/service highlights, limited-time offers, behind-the-scenes)
• Lifestyle content (day-in-the-life, team culture, community engagement)
• Trending & engaging content (short-form Reels/TikToks, interactive challenges, user-generated content)

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment, has a strong eye for detail, and understands the nuances of short-form social media content.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Highly proficient in using an iPhone 15 or higher for video recording, lighting, and framing.
• Experience capturing engaging short-form social media content (Instagram Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts).
• Strong organizational skills to plan shot lists and execute them efficiently.
• Must be personable and professional when interacting with clients on-site.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different industries and client needs.
• Reliable transportation to and from content shoots.
• Comfortable working independently and taking initiative during shoots.
• Previous experience in content creation, social media, or videography is a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and develop a content shot list for each scheduled shoot based on client needs and industry trends.
• Arrive on time at client locations and efficiently capture 2-4 hours of video content.
• Capture high-quality footage using an iPhone 15 or higher, ensuring optimal lighting, angles, and clarity.
• Direct clients and interviewees in a way that makes them feel comfortable on camera.
• Ensure a variety of content styles are captured to maximize engagement on social media.
• Upload and organize all footage post-shoot for easy access by the editing team.
• Stay updated on social media trends to recommend innovative content ideas.
