BBB Heart of Texas is looking for a responsible individual to join our Austin office as a Content Manager to contribute to the organization’s overall success by playing a critical role in managing, creating, and producing marketing content, emphasizing email marketing.

ABOUT THE POSITION

Are you looking for an opportunity to work for a reputable company with a positive work environment? Better Business Bureau is looking for a Content Manager to join the team. This position will leverage tools such as Insights, StreamPage, HubSpot, and Sales Force to develop and execute successful email campaigns that engage the target audience, nurture leads, and drive conversions. The Content Manager will also oversee web development, social media, and copyediting to maintain a consistent brand voice and enhance the organization’s brand image.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND QUALIFICATIONS

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Proven experience in email marketing, with a strong emphasis on leveraging HubSpot or Sales Force.
  • Demonstrated expertise in content creation, copywriting, and brand management.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in utilizing marketing analytics and data to inform decision-making.
  • Up to date with the latest marketing trends, best practices, and digital tools.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a fast-paced office with proven project management skills.
  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities:

Email Marketing Management

  • Utilize Insights, StreamPage, HubSpot, and Sales Force to develop data-driven email marketing strategies and campaigns that drive engagement, conversation, and customer retention.
  • Manage the execution of email marketing initiatives, including copywriting, analytics, editorial planning, and performance tracking.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to segment audiences, create personalized email content, and optimize email workflows.

Content Creation and Management

  • Oversee creating and managing compelling marketing content across various channels, ensuring it aligns with the organization’s brand voice and guidelines.
  • Create and repurpose B2B marketing content tailored to key audiences and personas, such as videos, webinars, training, articles, etc., to build brand preference, audience engagement, digital authority, and website traffic.
  • Edit and proofread marketing materials and content created by the team, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

Integrated Campaign Coordination

  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Communication team members and other departments to strategize, execute, and optimize integrated campaigns that include email marketing as a key component.
  • Analyze campaign performance, draw actionable insights, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with the Campaign Coordinator on event promotions and corporate sponsorships.

Social Media and Web Development

  • Work in collaboration with the Social and Digital Specialists to develop data-driven social media strategies that complement email marketing efforts.
  • Manage and maintain website content (Core CMS and AEM), ensuring it aligns with email campaigns and brand guidelines.

Brand Guidelines

  • Oversee writing standards and brand guidelines across departments, ensuring content adheres to them and enhances the organization’s brand image.

Additional Duties:

  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team, providing support and expertise in content management and strategy.
  • Adapt and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, efficiently balancing multiple priorities and tasks.
  • Utilize project management software to track and update projects, ensuring timely delivery of deliverables.
  • Contribute to continuously improving marketing processes, workflows, and tools.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to inform content strategy and identify opportunities.
  • Support the coordination and execution of marketing events, including logistics, promotion, and post-event analysis.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining marketing resources like style guides, templates, and asset libraries.
