Job Description:
Phreesia is looking for a Content Manager to join our Marketing team to create and execute content strategies that drive engagement, attract leads, and support overall marketing and customer acquisition goals for your segment of the business. You will join a high impact team that is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive the growth and adoption of Phreesia’s products by healthcare services organizations nationally.
In this role, you will utilize your creativity and drive to collaborate and partner with cross-functional stakeholders including Product, Sales, and Client Solutions. The ideal candidate is a top-notch storyteller writer, and editor who is very familiar with the U.S. healthcare industry and the trends that are shaping it, and who has demonstrated experience producing content for healthcare audiences across multiple channels.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and execute content strategies aligned with marketing objectives and target audience and create high-quality, engaging content for various channels including website, blog posts, social media, email newsletters, whitepapers, case studies, webinars, advertising channels, etc.
  • Advise on channels and formats for specific content topics and develop a thorough understanding of relevant messaging and positioning for different personas, maintaining a pulse on competitor content and create differentiated positioning
  • Collaborating with other members of the Marketing team to formulate a marketing calendar and timely execute creation of content and supporting collateral
  • Optimize content for SEO and lead generation purposes, measuring and analyze content performance using relevant metrics and tools, and adjust strategy accordingly
  • Conceptualize engaging event session and webinar topics and supporting content creation for and production of in-person and virtual sessions and webinars
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to produce high-impact event and webinar content that engages leading physician groups, health systems, and other audiences
  • Edit, proofread, and improve content produced by other team members or contributors, ensuring all content is accurate, consistent in style, tone, and aligned with brand voice

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience as a content strategist, content writer, or similar role creating content for multiple channels (e.g., blogs, website), as well as events and webinars related to the U.S. healthcare system
  • Strong grasp of content strategy and best practices for content and copy for different channels
  • Knowledge of healthcare services industry, stakeholders (healthcare providers, patients, payers, accountable care organizations, managed services providers), and personas
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while adapting to new processes and requirements
