Description:

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • B2B SaaS Expertise: 3+ years of experience in high-growth B2B SaaS environments, with a deep understanding of the industry.
  • Native US English Proficiency: Exceptional written communication skills, with a strong command of US English.
  • Research & Analysis: Ability to conduct thorough research and synthesize information into compelling content that resonates with the target audience.
  • SaaS KPI Knowledge: Demonstrable experience writing about SaaS-specific KPIs such as MRR, ARR, CAC, LTV, Churn Rate, and more.
  • Fast Turnaround: Proven ability to produce high-quality work quickly, often turning around significant projects in condensed timeframes.
  • Collaboration Skills: Strong ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and external freelancers to achieve content goals.
  • Strategic Thinking: A content strategist who can think critically about how content fits into broader business goals.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • Educational Background: Degree in business, marketing, or communications.
  • AI Tool Proficiency: Experience using AI tools like ChatGPT to enhance content creation while maintaining originality and creativity.
  • Copyediting & Proofreading: Strong attention to detail with the ability to edit and proofread content for clarity, coherence, and grammatical accuracy.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to and write in a distinct brand voice, particularly for ghostwriting assignments.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

SaaS Academy is seeking a Content Manager who will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the content strategy for our CEO, Johnny Page. This individual will be at the forefront of our efforts to drive engagement and elevate Johnny’s personal brand, in addition to the SaaS Academy brand. As a key contributor, the Content Manager will take the lead on creating and managing high-impact content across multiple channels, ensuring that our messaging resonates deeply with our audience and aligns with our ambitious growth objectives. By collaborating closely with cross-departmental teams, this role will be instrumental in positioning SaaS Academy as a thought leader in the B2B SaaS space, while also providing the creative energy needed to push our content initiatives to new heights.
Here are the primary responsibilities of our Content Writer role, including but not limited to:

Responsibilities:

  • Content Writing & Management: Oversee and produce content across various channels, including a weekly email newsletter, social media posts, blog articles, podcasts, webinars, sales enablement collateral, landing pages, client communications, and event content. Ensure all content aligns with the company’s strategic direction and drives engagement across the SaaS Academy’s audience.
  • Content QA: Conduct rigorous quality assurance on all content to uphold the highest standards of excellence. This includes meticulous copy editing and ensuring every deliverable is fully aligned with our brand voice, maintaining consistency and impact across all channels.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate closely with various teams across the company, including Media, Design, Demand Generation, Video, Events, and our program Coaches. You’ll work directly with executives and key stakeholders to extract core insights, field creative requests, and ensure our story is effectively shared externally.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze content performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to improve results
