Description:

As the Content Marketing Advisor, you will drive and deliver social-media and digital led content marketing activity for the purpose of supporting the engagement and growth of the RAC Ignite membership.

What will you be doing?

  • Driving the development and execution of social-media led content marketing strategy development for a 17 –24 year old audience (RAC Ignite) to achieve program and marketing objectives
  • Developing and maintaining strong, effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including close alignment with Social & Content team
  • End-to-end management of social and content calendar including planning, briefing agency, developing content, managing approvals, posting and community management
  • Providing analysis and reporting on data from all campaigns, including marketing effectiveness, evaluation, engagement, and growth
  • Capturing and editing video and photo content
  • Managing RAC Ignite social budget including processing POs and invoices
  • Supporting the development and execution of ad-hoc marketing campaigns, including briefing and management of owned channels (eDMs, Horizons & content)
  • Managing website content updates on the RAC Ignite website for news and optimisations

What we are looking for in you

  • Demonstrated experience in content marketing, social media marketing and digital content planning, production, and management
  • Curiosity and a high degree of initiative. Highly creative with genuine enthusiasm and passion for producing high quality social content – keeping abreast latest trends
  • Strong copywriting, editing, and storytelling skills and the ability to think creatively and translate ideas into social formats
  • A natural collaborator and clear communicator with outstanding stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Excellent understanding of production and agency management processes
  • Excellent proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office suite and Social media publishing, management and measurement tools, e.g. Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout, Brandwatch or equivalent as well as Meta Business and Ads Manager
  • Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
  • Excellent communication, attention to detail, presentation, and organisation skills
  • Experience with image and video editing software would be beneficial
  • Tertiary qualifications in Digital Media, Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, Business and/or related discipline would be beneficial
