Description:

Location: Our Head Office in Freshwater
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: Full time (37.5 hours a week) but we would consider flexible/part time
Every year, 100 billion new items of clothing are produced whilst a truck full of clothing is burned, or buried in landfill every second. Our mission is to help brands end waste. To do this, we’ve created the world’s first ever closed-loop, circular supply chain which allows us to make new products from waste material right from the beginning, and it’s a game changer.
Words don’t change the world, action does. That’s why we are working on the front line of fast fashion to make the world more sustainable. This growth has resulted in the creation of the role of Content Marketing Executive within our Marketing team.
As a Content Marketing Assistant, a major part of your role will be to create short-form written content for our community of store owners on a weekly cadence.
You will work directly with the Platform Content Lead, supporting them and the CRM team in creating content to facilitate the execution of our retailing campaign calendar across our VIP stores.
You will be responsible for ensuring that our community receives valuable, actionable, timely, and well-researched advice regularly in the form of posts in our Community Chat forums, push notifications, in-platform notifications, and email newsletters (with scope for creating engaging video and social media content as well). The team will look to you to ensure that best practices and learnings from top stores trickle down to the platform and are easily accessible so they can benefit all our users internally and externally.
Through developing a comprehensive understanding of the needs of different types of customers using our platform, and an ability to distil best practices from our top stores into actionable steps for others to follow, your role will be instrumental in keeping our community engaged and helping them succeed.

Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with the Platform Content Lead to translate the retailing marketing calendar into a content calendar for the wider DIY community.
  • Keep the Campaign Pitch Deck up to date according to the retailing marketing calendar.
  • Collect case studies and examples of successes from across the business and turn these into actionable steps for others to replicate, for example through FAQs and blog posts
  • Keep up to date with the latest trends on social media and in the world of e-commerce to be able to communicate these, plus the opportunities they present and how to capitalise on them, to our community
  • Write, and schedule push notifications
  • Write and share posts in our Community Chats
  • Update the platform with new banners and announcements following launches and around key dates
  • Collate weekly announcements, launches and opportunities into regular email newsletters to store owners, paying close attention to detail
  • Repurpose existing messaging and content and make sure that new evergreen content is saved in our Content Wallet
  • Monitor and report on the key metrics indicating the engagement of stores, such as weekly active stores, % made money and open and click-through rates on newsletters
  • Assist with the scripting, filming and sharing of video content
  • Assist with distributing content across our social media channels
  • Attend ‘Know Your Customer’ sessions with top clients and write them up for internal use
