Description:
OPPORTUNITY
Method is on the lookout for our next Content Marketing Manager—a natural storyteller + strategist who will help our small- and medium-sized businesses connect the dots between their workflow problems (there are many!) and Method’s highly-customizable CRM as the go-to solution.
We’re on a mission to give businesses real control over their customer workflows—like how they manage leads, opportunities, work orders, job scheduling, invoicing, and everything else in between—while tying it all back to their finance function. We take that last part pretty seriously, which is why our two-way QuickBooks integration has earned a 4.7 star rating from 1,700+ reviews in the Intuit App Store.
Reporting to the Content Marketing Lead, you’ll own the strategy and execution of a content engine that educates, engages, and converts. We’re looking for someone who has experience owning a channel and is excited to test new ideas and go beyond the standard B2B SaaS “playbook.” If that’s you, you’ll have real ownership, learn a ton, and get to shape the next stage of marketing at Method.
Responsibilities:
- Lead SEO content production. Organic is a key channel at Method—leveraging freelancers and your own input, you will lead the ideation, creation and production of content that’s optimized to rank in organic search and drive Method sign-ups.
- Create content that will drive our demand generation strategy, including but not limited to customer stories, webinars, video demos, newsletters, thought leadership, ebooks, and others.
- Oversee our how-to video production, repurposing existing articles into scripts and managing our external video editor to create videos for YouTube.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including product marketing, sales, design, and product teams, to understand customer pain points, market trends, and competitive landscape, and translate insights into engaging and impactful content.
- Scale output by directing writers, designers, and video editors to execute your vision. Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and quality standards.
- Monitor, analyze and report on content performance metrics, including website traffic, engagement, lead generation, and conversion rates, optimizing content strategy for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with Method’s content team to run channel experiments on new channels, like short-form video (TikTok/YouTube Shorts), community-driven content strategy (e.g., user-generated success stories), or podcast series.
- Manage webinars with guest hosts and guest podcast appearances
- Manage our internal content library to enable our sales department to execute against joint cross-functional objectives.
