Responsibilities:
PURPOSE:
As Stocksy’s Content Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, creation, and execution of Stocksy’s content marketing initiatives. This role requires a creative thinker with a strong understanding of social media strategies, exceptional copywriting skills, and a keen eye for contemporary culture and creative industry trends.

Role type: FT Employee (or FT Dependent Contractor if residing outside of Canada)
Hours: Hours of work: This is a full-time position with the standard hours of 35 hours per week, 7 hours per day. Typical office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday (or in agreement with Team Lead). Overtime may be required as part of annual salary. All conditions of employment will be in accordance with the BC Employment Standards Act.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Content Calendar Management
- Plan and maintain a strategic content calendar that aligns with Stocksy’s marketing objectives.
- Identify key opportunities for campaigns, trends, and seasonal content.
- Content Production & Publishing
- Oversee the creation and distribution of content assets, including:
- Social media posts
- Marketing emails
- Blog posts
- Landing page copy
- Ensure all content meets brand standards for tone, voice, and style.
- Social Media Management
- Develop and execute social media strategies to grow engagement and reach.
- Coordinate with design and marketing teams to create visually compelling posts.
- Monitor and respond to social media engagement in a timely, authentic manner.
- Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Track content performance metrics and provide actionable insights.
- Report regularly to the Creative Director and marketing team on content effectiveness.
- Creative Innovation
- Ideate and implement out-of-the-box content ideas to drive brand awareness.
- Stay informed on creative and cultural trends to keep Stocksy’s content fresh and relevant.
- Team Support
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align content with broader campaigns.
- Assist in the coordination of freelancers and creative contributors as needed.
