The Content & Publishing Associate II is responsible for designing layouts for legal forms, booklets, brochures, and visual aids, collaborating with Business Analysts to transform inputs into digital files for various publishing platforms. Utilizing Adobe CS, Quark Express, and Microsoft Office, they import text and graphics, revise layouts, and prepare files for production while ensuring compliance. This role also involves managing electronic workflow tools, conducting quality assurance, and coordinating with stakeholders for updates to provide seamless customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Translate inputs from business analysis and customer support into digital files for print, online publishing, or electronic processing.
- Create and output files for documents using Adobe CS, InDesign, Acrobat, Quark Express, Microsoft Office Suite applications, and proprietary publishing applications.
- Import text and graphics, adjust properties as needed for compliance, revise layouts, update field locations and attributes, and make corrections in collaboration with Business Analysts and Compliance Analysts.
- Adjust text properties, such as size, column width, and spacing as needed to adhere to compliance requirements across several jurisdictions.
- Utilize electronic workflow tools such as Gemini, Azure, and email systems to manage compliance updates effectively. Accurately track order movements and capture labor data within these platforms.
- Develop multiple output formats including PDF, IFD, PCL, RTF, SFX, HTML, XML, DOCX, FAP, and other proprietary outputs.
- Implement design standards and field requirements on all outputs.
- Manage source file extraction and updates using Vasont and Azure.
- Conduct validation and quality assurance for document accuracy and functionality, including reviewing content against requirements and field testing in Acrobat Pro or WK proprietary tools.
- Coordinate closely with legal analysis resources, customers, and business analysts for updates and revisions to content and deliverables.
- Manage awareness of release cycles, monthly scopes, and due dates to prioritize workload effectively.
- Manage production for 4-8+ product line outputs, adjusting workflows as needed.
- Maintain regular attendance and perform assigned duties.
- Works effectively with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Adobe InDesign, and Quark Xpress.
- Working knowledge of Pitstop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Experience Manager, XML Authoring tools, HTML authoring tools, and other form editor applications.
- Experience with the following applications/concepts is a plus: Oracle DocuMaker Studio Design, DITAMAPS, DITA file setup, and Oxygen XML Editor.
