Job Description
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you will be part of a team that will be responsible for eazy’s marketing initiatives, campaigns, promotions, events, etc. as outlined in the marketing and communications annual plan.
You will be tasked with developing and executing content strategies that drive traffic and generate leads. Your responsibilities include determining which formats best communicate various types of content, identifying ways to increase brand awareness, and conducting keyword research. You should also be able to analyze user engagement metrics to determine whether the content is well-received or not.

A day in the life:

  • Developing clear and engaging content that is consistent with the company’s brand image and addresses both business goals and consumer needs.
  • Develop, write, and edit high-quality content for various marketing materials including blogs, articles, social media posts, newsletters, emails, and website copy.
  • Researching and staying up to date on the latest developments in terms of search engine optimization, content trends and consumer behaviour
  • Performing content audits to assess how well existing content is performing.
  • Performing content gap analyses to determine what type of content is missing and what is needed.
  • Optimize content for SEO to increase organic traffic and improve search engine rankings.
  • Updating older content to meet new content standards.
  • Planning the editorial calendar and content proposition
  • Establishing style guides that specify the writing style and tone needed to create engaging content.
  • Ensuring consistency across all content, from websites to social media channels and videos

What you need:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising, journalism, or related field.
  • At least 3-4 years of experience in creating and editing digital content for target audiences across all multimedia and social platforms.
  • Sound knowledge of content management systems, keyword research tools, social media platforms, and search engine optimization (SEO).
  • Experience with SEO tools
  • Skilled in copywriting, content creation, and copy editing, including writing in different voices and styles, for a variety of target audiences.
  • Experience in Marketing, Communications, or in a journalist, creative, or media capacity.
  • Strong content presentation skills.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
