Role Overview:
Imagination is the design and event partner to the transformative nations and brands of the Middle East. From designing entertainment destinations and visitor centres to launching new brands and creating VIP events for the most exclusive guests. We’re looking for a Content Strategist to join our fast-growing team in Riyadh. Trusted to deliver project phases to the highest standard, you will primarily focus on bringing your creative strategy skills to support event concepts, but you will also support our teams in developing content strategies for destination concepts in KSA spanning entertainment, tourism, leisure, hospitality and beyond.

Detailed responsibilities:

  • Main focus - Developing Creative Strategy for Events, Projects & Pitches. Project types will include Major Events, Conferences, Presentations, and Festivals for Government & Private clients.
  • Research, Concepts, Ideation, Content Development
  • Developing strategic directions and creative platforms, creating fresh, exciting ideas with creative teams
  • Writing content strategies & frameworks
  • Writing narrative and event customer journeys with the creative team
  • Presenting concepts and content strategies to clients
  • Secondary focus - Conducting Research on Consulting & Destinations projects
  • Delivery of discrete project phases and deliverables
  • Benchmarking, Trends, Consumer research
  • Delivering fresh insights to support unique concepts
  • Presenting key deliverables to clients
  • Other work - Supporting the Strategy Department Tools & Information/Reports
  • Supporting Documentation for the department
  • Content creation and inspiration for the wider team
  • Other work - Supporting Marketing & Growth
  • Ad-hoc support with Marketing activity such as communication content and assets
  • Inspiration and general industry trends and reports seeking
  • Analysis of local events and experiences - attending, reporting and presenting

Experience and skills required

  • Able to work in Riyadh and travel regionally essential
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Strategist in Marketing and/or Events agencies
  • Fluent Arabic speaking and writing essential (Saudi National not essential but preferred)
  • Fluent English speaking and writing essential
  • Degree-level education essential
  • Strong writing skills
  • Strong research skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Flexibility, agility and eagerness to learn quickly are important personality qualities
