Responsibilities:
ROLE OVERVIEW
As the Content Writer and Planner Lead, you will play a key role in developing and executing content strategies for a range of clients and internal projects. You will craft compelling, high-quality content tailored to various platforms, while also overseeing the planning and management of content calendars. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with exceptional writing skills and a proven track record of delivering impactful content.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Content Creation: Write, edit, and proofread engaging and well-researched content for websites, blogs, social media, newsletters, and other channels.
- Content Planning: Develop and manage content calendars, ensuring alignment with marketing strategies and campaign objectives.
- Research: Conduct thorough research to stay updated on industry trends, audience preferences, and competitive landscapes.
- Strategy Development: Collaborate with the marketing team to create data-driven content strategies that meet client and company goals.
- SEO Optimization: Incorporate best practices for SEO to maximize content visibility and performance.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with designers, marketers, and other team members to ensure cohesive storytelling across all platforms.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze content performance, providing actionable insights to improve future content.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior writers, fostering a culture of excellence and creativity.
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in content writing, planning, or a similar role. Experience in a senior or leadership capacity is a plus.
- Writing Skills: Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong command of English.
- Strategic Thinking: The ability to align content with broader marketing objectives and adapt to changing priorities.
- SEO Knowledge: A solid understanding of SEO principles and tools to optimize content for search engines.
- Project Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Creativity: A flair for storytelling and a passion for creating unique, audience-focused content.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and liaise with clients
