We are looking for passionate music teachers to join our team to create and edit Twinkl’s online Music content for educators across the UK. The majority of your time will be spent working with other Content Writers, Editors, Designers and Illustrators; engaging with product priorities to facilitate the highest possible quality of teacher content for our customers.

REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

  • Qualifications: PGCE, B.Ed, or equivalent primary Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years post-QTS teaching experience, with expertise in KS1/KS2 Music curriculum.
  • Skills: Proficient with MS Word, PowerPoint, G Suite, and basic music notation.
  • Teaching: Planned and delivered engaging music activities for children in KS1 and KS2 settings, incorporating a variety of musical concepts and techniques suitable for different age groups.
  • Music: Proficient in playing musical instruments and singing, with the ability to demonstrate and teach musical skills to children in a classroom setting.
  • Knowledge: Detailed understanding of the English National Curriculum guidelines for music and current educational trends.
  • Attributes: Collaborative communicator, adaptable to agile team environments, and committed to continuous professional development.

Responsibilities:

  • Ideate & Produce Resources: Develop creative and inclusive educational materials from concept to publication.
  • Collaborate Across Disciplines: Work with design, editorial, and customer focus groups to enhance resources.
  • Adapt to Agile Workflows: Quickly adjust to project needs and deadlines within an agile framework.
  • Use Project Tools: Master in-house tracking and project management software.
