Health Association Nova Scotia is partnering with the Department of Seniors and Long-term Care to provide recruitment support to continuing care employers in Nova Scotia. There are numerous opportunities across Western Zone.

CORE REQUIREMENTS:
- Provincial Continuing Care Assistant Certification
- Persons with related education and/or work experience and are enrolled in or are eligible to be enrolled in CCA RPL Program
- Students in nursing, CCA programs, and international educated nurses will be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting clients with various personal care activities (e.g., bathing, dressing, grooming).
- Perform light housekeeping duties.
- Assist clients with meals and between meal refreshments.
- Provide respite for families and care givers.
- Documentation (e.g., reporting client concerns, progress notes, incident reports).
- Engage residents/families in leisure/recreational programs.
