2025 PSW Program Teacher Assistant
LOCATIONS: St. Joseph’s Health Care Centre
DATES & HOURS: 10 – 20 hours/week
RATE of PAY: $41.00/hour
JOB SUMMARY:
Course: Support for PSW Certificate Program
Our Night School classes are offered through an approach that combines the benefits of face-to-face learning with the flexibility of an online learning environment. Students will attend classes face-to-face twice per week, every other weekend and complete online tasks independently during the rest of the week. The teaching assistant will aid the classroom teacher by assisting with smaller groups of students, as well as individual students, as they work on skills and strength training during the face-to-face sessions. Significant background, experience, and certification as Personal Support Worker is needed.
