Description:

Overview
The Continuous Improvement Analyst will play a critical role in identifying, analyzing, and implementing process improvements within our manufacturing operations. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, a deep understanding of lean manufacturing principles, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve sustainable improvements.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct thorough analysis of manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Use data-driven methods to develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
  • Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and engineering teams to develop and execute improvement projects.
  • Apply lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the impact of improvement initiatives.
  • Facilitate training and workshops for employees on continuous improvement tools and techniques.
  • Create detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to management.
  • Support the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent application of best practices.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to address operational issues.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in continuous improvement and manufacturing.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in continuous improvement, process engineering, or manufacturing operations, preferably in the food industry.
  • Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt), or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing process improvements and achieving measurable results.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Minitab, etc.).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards is a plus.
