Ecolab’s Continuous Improvement Engineer is an individual who works closely with all functions across the Victoria plant. The Continuous Improvement Engineer will lead efforts to automate and digitize data and equipment for the site. You will develop and program systems to enable improvements and growth through a better understand of the in-process KPIs. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who will take the time to understand the existing operations, identify opportunities for improvement, and help build and implement a roadmap to manufacturing excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, prioritize, and manage multiple improvement projects.
  • Coordinate area projects with site 5S leader and Kaizen/lean events with facilitators.
  • Track all TPM and savings projects in the Project Management Tool when appropriate.
  • Support the Plant Manager in preparation of Plant related TPM audits.
  • Support and drive implementation of Loss Analysis and TPM.
  • Assist in implementing rapid change; be a hands-on team member through change process.
  • Work closely with the pillar leaders, management staff and co-workers to ensure establishment, implementation and continuous improvement of plant-wide TPM goals.
  • Collect data and ensuring accuracy of all Loss Tree Data.
  • Develop and conduct regular audits.
  • Determine root cause of failure using statistical methods and recommend changes in design, tolerances or processing methods.
  • Train others in systems, tools, and processes.
  • Lead automation of data, processes and analyses.
