Continuous Improvement Senior Specialist

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Superior Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Process Technology) or in other relevant field;
• Certified trainer (preferential);
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial environment in production /process engineering areas and 5 years of experience in the implementation of continuous improvement methodologies in industrial area and in leading teams and projects;
• Good knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodologies, namely, Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Standard Work, TPM, SMED, Lean Manufacturing, Root Cause processes and concepts;
• Fluency in English, Portuguese and German (mandatory);
• Proficiency in Office 365 tools;
• Innovation & Creativity;
• Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving;
• Team Work & Collaboration;
• Availability to travel.

• Coordinate and support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
• Train and coach employees on Continuous Improvement concepts, tools and methods
• Assess and report CI implementation progress and results by monitoring continuous improvement KPIs
• Collect information concerning best practices, in order to ensure the internal benchmarking regarding continuous improvement initiatives
• Promote CI Training by identifying training needs and providing internal training to develop teams
• Facilitate or lead CI events (workshops, projects)
• Support teams in performing structured problem solving activities
