LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS IN QUEBEC :

Intermediate level knowledge of English is necessary for aeronautical personnel to meet regulatory requirements, understand technical procedures and instructions, and document entries regarding work performed on the aeronautical product for customers outside Quebec

Responsibilities:

We are looking for an experienced continuous improvement specialist to work in the transformation & Operational Excellence department based in our Montreal office. The specialist will be working on transformation and continuous improvement projects in the Montreal facility, but also in other FTAI Aviation locations. Transformation projects are supporting the business growth objectives.
The specialist will also Analyzes and designs sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel. Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems. On the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods. May assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilities.
