Description:
DESCRIPTION
Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Continuous Improvement Specialist to work in our Business Management department. Our team works a 9x80 schedule onsite at our Idaho Falls EROB facility with every other Friday off.
You will help lead rapid improvement activities in collaboration with departmental and cross-functional teams. Also you will provide continuous improvement guidance and support for complex and multi-organizational projects.
You will report to the Business Management Solution Center Lead Professional.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
EX1-Bachelor’s Degree in a related Business field (Finance, Accounting).

Responsibilities:
- Frequently interact with internal customers to understand and address their needs.
- Determine methods and approaches to best address the scope of activities.
- Identify and initiate improvement opportunities by analyzing current state processes and through end-user interactions.
- Demonstrate project management and facilitating multi-functional teams.
- process improvement, and development of control plans.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure continuous improvements are integrated into the culture.
- Train leaders and associates on continuous improvement tools such as Lean, DMAIC, and PDSA.
- Analyze data through various systems and tools to define problems and measure the effectiveness of improvements.
- Manage deliverables, ensuring the progress of process improvement initiatives.
