Continuous Improvement Specialist
Location: Leeds, Thorpe Park, Hybrid working.
As a Continuous Improvement Specialist, you’ll deputy lead a team of C.I. Analysts to deliver improvements that positively impact business objectives.
Your role is to support the CI squad to deliver process improvements in line with our strategy, prioritising and distributing work across the team of direct reports to ensure deliverables meet time, cost, and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Document and maintain the Process Architecture framework for the UK business ensuring process architecture is kept up to date to support and allow us to understand process ownership, manage our processes effectively, understand our risks and feed into risk framework, build appropriate controls for our processes and demonstrate this to our regulator.
- Influential in supporting and embedding a Continuous Improvement culture across the UK business to improve our business and support strategic objectives.
- Fostering relationships with key business stakeholders to prioritise SME availability to support the collection of data, process knowledge and documentation of processes and controls to support strategic/departmental objectives.
- Collecting, understanding, and translating the business processes and documenting them as required.
- Alongside the CI Lead develop and implement objectives that align to the Lowell UK business strategy to deliver tangible benefits across commercial and customer outcomes.
- Review and documentation of end-to-end processes, working with multiple owners across the process, ensuring all hand-offs have demonstrable controls, ownership and are waste free.
- Identification and assessment of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) opportunities using a standardised C.I. methodology.
- Enhance and champion the use of process governance / process architecture across the UK business.
- Highlight and recommend instances where key controls can be improved.
- Support the delivery of Continuous Improvement initiatives using standardised methodology (Lean Six Sigma).
What we need from you:
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
- Process Architecture and documentation to BPMN2 standard using Blueworks Live, or other process mapping tools
- Strong Process and Data analysis
- Strong communication skills including the ability to break down barriers between stakeholders
- MS office including intermediate level Excel skills and knowledge of MS Project and Visio
- Understanding of different control types and ability to identify control and recommend process controls.
- Workshop planning and facilitation to deliver an agreed outcome.
- Experience in Coaching is desirable.
