MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Basic computer skills preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to drive a forklift.
• Basic math skills for measurements and the use of tape measure.
• Ability to read basic directions and learn to identify areas for improvement.
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.

As a Continuous Improvement Shop Support Tech, you will play a crucial role in supporting shop floor leads by removing shop waste such as pallets, cardboard, plastic bags, trash, and metal scrap. You will also assemble, paint, and label items that support lean manufacturing initiatives, including shelving, tool cabinets, and shadow boards. Under the direction of the continuous improvement engineer and shop floor leads, you’ll contribute to other improvement projects as needed. This role requires regular attendance, punctuality, and the ability to work on-site and in a fast-paced environment. You’ll also need to collaborate effectively with coworkers, customers, vendors, and management, handling multiple tasks concurrently and identifying areas for improvement.
