    Join us on a permanent basis as Contract Administrator for Sydney Light Rail Project based out of Lilifield & Renwick with onsite with parking available You will be required to have flexibility and mobility in the workplace, working Monday-Friday, this opportunity will suit a Junior or emerging Contracts Administrator in the rail sector seeking ongoing secure works in project environment

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Tertiary Qualification in Project Management / Contract or Commercial management or coupled with experience
  • Competencies in Engineering processes and contract management
  • Prior technical and contract management knowledge in similar role
  • Excellent Microsoft Office & MS Excel skills

Responsibilities:

  • Contract Summary and ensure it is widely communicated and regularly updated.
  • Track project cost, recovery, additional works
  • Monthly payment claim
  • Monitor Works towards contract obligations; check schedule and all milestones compliance.
  • Participate in the preparation of data and documents for the negotiation of claims and counterclaims.
  • Ensure documentation is in place to enable claims monthly progress are available on time for invoicing.
  • Participate in correspondence management by analysing incoming correspondence, preparing and reviewing outgoing correspondence.
  • Collect the elements for the preparation of the commercial proposals of the variation orders, and prepare first draft.
  • Liaise with the Insurance person in-charge to cover the project responsibility.
