    Resumen de Posición:
    Manage equipment sales orders from receipt to collection, through a clean order review process including specification review, order reconciliation, order entry, product configuration review, major procurement request, documentation responsibility, schedule responsibility, commercial responsibility, and margin reporting.
    Also has responsibilities for issuing and delivering documentation and attending witnessed trials.

Responsabilidades Esenciales:

  • Order Entry: Upload effective orders and progress through clean order procedure including order terms, pricing, etc. Release order lines, manage billing and shipping along with dates using the master scheduler. Manage order tracking tasks and track cycle time.
  • Technical Specification Review and Reconciliation: Review all customer technical documents (i.e. specifications, data sheets) to determine customer requirements, compare to sales quote, reconcile and obtain agreement on discrepancies, and then incorporate agreed upon requirements into the order based on skill level.
  • Verify product configuration in Eprism and local ERP.
  • Commercial Responsibility: Review customer purchase order and terms documents, validate associated terms to reconcile pricing, ensure compliance with local commercial policy, and ensure/obtain necessary approvals.
  • Documentation Ownership and Responsibility: Review customer requirements and create the list of documents for the project. Communicate document plan and shipping dates with customer and obtain agreement on discrepancies.

Follow up with document vendors to ensure shipping dates. Review returned drawings and initiate necessary actions. Goal is a high level of punctuality and customer satisfaction as well as compliance with all documentation requirements to ensure no interference with timely payment.

  • Document Technician – Some documents are issued and edited by this role i.e. ITP, schedule plan, vendor documents, etc.
  • Witnessed Testing Responsibility – Schedule with Operations, participate and assist customer representative in ordering proofs.
  • All tasks are cycle time dependent with the goal of reducing processing time, getting quality product out, and getting payment in the shortest amount of time. Being able to manage time, schedule workload, and multi-task is critical.

Requisitos del Puesto:

  • Minimum experience in similar position 3 years.
  • Preferably a Bachelor degree of Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or student in last year.
  • Technical product knowledge, some knowledge of industry standards such as API, ASTM, HI, ASME.
  • Understanding contract terms and conditions.
  • Proficiency with Excel and Word.
  • Must be a team player, demonstrate commercial astuteness and leadership abilities; able to multitask and work under high pressure situations. Good negotiation skills, good expediting skills, strong communications skills, strong customer service skills.
  • Work experience in companies certified with ISO 9001 / ISO 14001.
