Responsibilities:

As a Contract and Bid Manager (f/m/d) you play a crucial role for Delos Cloud, being responsible for managing the end-to-end process of responding to external tenders. This role requires a strategic and detail-oriented professional who can effectively navigate contractual requirements and deliver compelling bids to secure business opportunities. Your experience with European procurement law will provide expertise and support on procurement-related matters for Delos Cloud´s engagement with German government.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tender Analysis: Analyze external tenders and requests for proposals (RFPs) to understand client requirements, objectives, and evaluation criteria.
  • Bid Preparation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and develop comprehensive bid responses, ensuring alignment with client needs and objectives.
  • Contract Management: Review, negotiate, and manage contractual agreements, ensuring compliance with legal and business requirements.
  • Proposal Development: Craft persuasive and tailored proposals that highlight the company’s strengths, capabilities, and unique value propositions.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments associated with bid submissions and contracts, providing insights to senior management for decision-making.
  • Costing and Pricing: Work closely with finance and relevant departments to develop accurate cost models and pricing strategies for bids.
  • Deadline Management: Manage timelines and deadlines for bid submissions, ensuring timely and high-quality responses to meet client requirements.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, legal, technical, and operational teams to gather necessary inputs and insights for bid preparation.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of bid responses to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with client expectations.
  • Client Relationship: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, understanding their needs and fostering a client-centric approach in bid submissions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and enhance bid processes, incorporating lessons learned from previous bids to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness.
