JOB OVERVIEW:

Kiefer Automotive Group El Cajon is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Dealership Contract Clerk. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and processing various dealership contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements. This role requires strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or relevant certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience in administrative or clerical roles, preferably in a dealership or automotive environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and dealership management software.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Familiarity with legal terms and contract documentation is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Contract Processing: Receive and review dealership contracts for accuracy and completeness.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all dealership contracts, ensuring easy retrieval and reference.
  • Data Entry: Accurately input contract details and related information into the dealership database.
  • Communication: Liaise with sales, finance, and legal departments to gather necessary information and resolve any discrepancies in contracts.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all dealership contracts adhere to legal requirements and company policies.
  • Customer Service: Assist customers and internal staff with contract-related inquiries and provide support as needed.
  • Filing and Record-Keeping: File physical and electronic copies of contracts in a systematic manner for future reference.
  • Reporting: Generate reports on contract status, trends, and issues as required by management.
